About The Music Center Itself
We’re a locally owned family business serving both local and visiting musicians, students, teachers, and all levels of music enthusiasts.
At first, a small space was set aside at the Charles Double Reed Company which was North of the village. We offered guitar strings and clarinet reeds to local musicians who requested them. Growth was exponential, and we added many items to our offerings including guitars, woodwinds, strings, books, music, CD’s, and accessories. Within a few years we grew out of that location and moved to our present shop on the North Conway strip. In our ten plus years of existence we’ve grown from 100 sq.ft. to 4,000 sq. ft. and added hundreds of products, instruments, and services to our repertoire.
We continue to advance, grow, and we’re committed to giving back to the community. As a company, we help fund numerous musical projects around the Mount Washington Valley and beyond.
